Sleep apnea remains a critical consideration in perioperative management. While most institutions have instituted protocols for better manage patients with known sleep apnea, there is still much debate on whether patients with suspected sleep apnea should undergo sleep evaluation prior to surgery. This session will highlight the available evidence and gaps in the literature through an entertaining debate of the topic.
